Family update for everyone and Merry Christmas!

Hi all!

It's amazing that Christmas is almost here already. The year went by so fast!

We've had a lot of fun this year as a family. We've been to California, we've been camping, seen fireworks, played games, have had plenty of big family dinners and anything else a normal family usually does during the year. All of them were filled with laughs and a lot of love. :)

This was our first year as a family to take a really big camping trip. We went to Ferron Res. with Joe's family and had a blast. The biggest thing that we had to do in that trip, was move right in the middle of it because a fire got out of control. We had to move to the next valley. And I was glad we did because it was really smokey the next day.
The next place that we went was really nice though. And we had such a good time.

This was the highlight of our summer. We spent almost a whole week up there. It was a ton of fun!

As for the rest of the year well.....

Megan is doing well at school. She loves 2nd grade. She loves to color and she really likes to read. She also likes to write notes. If you come over you'll see little sticky notes all over the house that she's written. :) She's also doing very well at violin. She's got a really good ear for music and can hear when the notes aren't all the way on, which in turn makes it so she's pleasant to listen to. :) She's more than half way through the first Suzuki book.

Anthony is doing well at school. He loves his Kindergarten class and his teacher. He's been doing really good at writing and learning his phonics. He's also learning 1st grade math. I guess kindergarten math was too easy for him. :) Of course Anthony loves to play computer games and will play as much as he can. He's also just started piano lessons. He's also got a really good ear for music.

Amanda is still at home with her mama. We've learned that she's the bossy one in the family. But she's getting better at asking nicely. :) We've also learned that if she doesn't want to do something, then she won't do it. (e. g. potty training!) She's also the peacemaker in the family. She doesn't like it when her brothers or sisters getting in trouble and will tell us "don't spank my sister! (or brother)." She's got a tender heart. She also wants to learn violin when she gets old enough.

Abigail, or Abby for short, is our cute little baby in the family. Everybody loves to hold her and play with her. She just turned 1 year old and is on the verge of walking. She makes cute little sounds kind of like the little girl off of Monsters Inc. :) She's really little just like the rest of our kids at that age. But she's really cute!

As for Joe and I. Things are going really well for us. Joe's doing really well at his job and his
business is being successful. He's been a very busy man this whole year. And on top of that he loves what he does. If he isn't constantly learning something new, then he wouldn't be happy, so the computer field is definately the right line of work for him. He just seems to have a talent for them anyway! I swear I've sat down at my computer and the thing has problems and then he'll just sit down to it and ask me what was wrong with it because it'll work just fine for him! And other people will agree with me on that. It's almost eriee! :)

For me, I love being at home with my kids. It's so nice to be able to put my husband and my children first. And not have a boss over my head telling me how I need to spend my time. I have my fun projects that I do with my children and of course all the things that you're supposed to do with them everyday like scriptures reading, prayers, FHE. From 3 PM to the time that they go to bed, my life is really busy with practice and homework and dinner and a bunch of other things that I can't remember. I'm just so blessed that I can do that with them instead of a babysitter. :)

Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone! We hope that you've had a wonderful year like we have and hope that this next year will be even better. We love you all and hope that you'll keep in touch with us either thru email or phone or visits.

With love,

The Wells Family.
